Molly is an experienced fundraising professional with over 20 years working in the nonprofit field. Prior to joining McDonald Schaefer, she spent 11 years in important leadership positions at the University of Wisconsin Foundation, where her accomplishments include raising over $80 million, legacy giving, team management, and strategically setting up two new major gift programs at the University. Molly has also demonstrated success in raising major gifts and advancing organizational goals during her tenure at Loyola Medicine (Chicago) and the Latin School of Chicago. She began her nonprofit career on the program side at Mercy Home for Boys & Girls (Chicago).

Her comprehensive and capital campaign successes have spanned several sectors, including higher education, healthcare, and social services. Molly prides herself on creating positive change through collaborative and strategic partnerships, in leading nonprofits through major capital and endowment campaigns and supporting donors in identifying and fulfilling their philanthropic goals. Molly earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Dayton and a M.A. from the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice at the University of Chicago.

She lives in Madison with her husband and enjoys cooking for friends, loves to travel to new places and recently found a love for playing tennis.
