Consultant
Jen is a seasoned fundraising professional with nearly 20 years of experience strengthening nonprofit development programs. Before joining McDonald Schaefer, she founded Jen Davie Consulting in 2017. Over the past eight years, she has helped nonprofits raise approximately $16 million through major gifts and annual fund initiatives. Her clients have included YWCA Madison, Driftless Area Land Conservancy, Explore Children’s Museum, and Centro Hispano.
As Development Director at the Literacy Network of Dane County, she ran a $700,000 annual program and helped lead a $2.5 million capital effort. She has also held development leadership roles with Girl Scouts of Wisconsin–Badgerland Council and Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois. In addition, she helped grow the UW Carbone Cancer Center’s Andy North and Friends initiative into a nationwide effort.
Jen has been a Certified Fund Raising Executive since 2014. She is also a Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional and an AFP Master Trainer. She served on the AFP Greater Madison Chapter board from 2014-2019, including serving as President in 2017 and 2018. Jen earned a B.S. in Business Administration from UW–Platteville.
Jen lives in Sun Prairie with her husband, Brandon and daughter, Izzy. She enjoys playing league volleyball with friends, being a Girl Scout Troop Leader, and cheering on her daughter at her sporting events.
